Choosing the right pillow or finding the best pillow can be a headache! It’s not only time consuming but expensive. Each night of lost sleep means more potential purchases to find the best pillow. At Sleep On It Now, I intend to put forth the pillows that I find to be of the best quality and most comfortable. Below you’ll find pillow reviews from some of the best brands in the industry. It’s not surprising that the best pillow reviews are from smaller, locally owned companies that put quality of quantity. You’re unlikely to find a pillow for life at Target or Walmart. You will also likely pay a bit more for a quality pillow but in the end, you will reap the rewards of a better nights sleep and overall better health and well being.

DOWN PILLOWS

Down pillows are the most popular pillows and are the most familiar feeling. Look for pillow with a higher concentration of down vs. feathers.

DOWN ALTERNATIVE PILLOWS

MEMORY FOAM PILLOWS

Memory foam pillows conform nicely to your neck. This is their main advantage over other pillows. However they can be known to trap heat more than a traditional pillow. New advancements in cooling technology such as gel and shredded foam have alleviated this problem considerably.

BUCKWHEAT PILLOWS

The main advantage of buckwheat pillows is that they offer unparalleled neck support. You can conform them to cradle your neck and you won’t lose support overnight. This means much less switching of positions. The biggest disadvantage is that the hulls inside can be noisy when settling and buckwheat pillows are much firmer than standard pillows.

TRAVEL PILLOWS

SPECIALTY PILLOWS

Some pillows are designed for a dual purpose. I keep those separate from my regular pillow reviews since they take some getting used to at first. Below are pillows that have added benefits. They take some practice to get used to but if you are dedicated, you can learn new sleep habits.
